In 2003 Hope Community entered its first quiz season with ACC Bible Quizzing.Up until this past 2008 season, Hope has been involved in quizzing each year with at least one team and, at times, with as many as four teams.Some members of the original Hope Comm team have moved on to help in coaching or have become part of ACC Quizzing staff. Bible Quizzing is open to youth who are in Grade 7 and up but who are not older than 20 as of January 1. Quiz matches are held on Sunday evenings from January through March followed by the ACC Tournament and an Invitational Tournament which includes Ohio and Virginia teams. 2008-2009 Season:
We are excited to have a quiz team to represent Hope in the ACC Bible Quizzing league.
Team members are Cassondra Homm, Steph Hartman, Brittany Kurtz and Rachel Kurtz. They will be coached by Jay and LuAnn Sensenig… and hopefully encouraged by all of you! Our team is one of about 57 teams from churches throughout Lancaster and Berks Counties. The quiz season runs from January 25 through the end of March, with matches taking place each Sunday night. The girls will be working hard at studying material taken from the book of Genesis. The first match takes place at LMH on Sunday evening, January 25 at 6:30 p.m., with a time of worship starting at 6:15. Check below for the schedule of Hope quiz locations.
